Meet Karin
Clinical Nutritionist and
Nutritional Therapist
BSc Nut Med
Gold Coast
Knowing what to eat and actually living it are two very different things. If you have ever felt like you are doing everything right and still not feeling well - that gap is exactly where I work in.
I am Karin, a Clinical Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapist based on the Gold Coast, with over 20 years' experience in nutrition and healthcare.
I help everyday people and active individuals feel their best through practical, tailored nutrition strategies that fit real life.
My approach goes beyond food. Habits, history, all-or-nothing thinking, busy lives - these are what get in the way for most people.
Alongside my clinical nutrition work, I have a deep personal interest in the mindset and habit side of change - informed by years of endurance sport and complemented by postgraduate studies in counselling that continue to broaden how I think and work with clients.
You come to me for nutrition support - what you also get is an approach that takes the whole picture seriously - and helps you build something that lasts.

About Karin
I grew up in Austria and have lived in Germany, South Africa, Namibia and the UK before calling the Gold Coast home. That breadth of experience across cultures, food systems and ways of living shaped my belief that there is no single right way to eat.
What works is what fits your life, your preferences and where you are right now. My job is to help you find that - practically, sustainably and without judgement.
Appointments
Available in-person in Varsity Lakes or via telehealth Australia-wide - no issue is too small.
Deutsch Willkommen

My active life: Endurance Athlete & Nutritionist:

My background in endurance sport - triathlon and running - deeply informs how I work with active clients.
In endurance sport, you learn quickly that motivation matters - but so do strategy, consistency and the ability to keep going when things get hard. You learn to adjust your pacing, not abandon the race. I bring that same long-game thinking to nutrition and habit change - because the same principles that get someone through a triathlon are the ones that make healthy habits stick.
I work with clients at every fitness level. Strength and wellbeing come in many forms, and movement should feel comfortable and achievable - whatever that looks like alongside work, family and everything else that fills your days.
